Experienced, holistic and Empathic Therapist
Experience and Expertise:
Yonit holds a master's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, alongside specialized certifications in Clinical Pilates and Hydrotherapy. She is also a qualified Somatic, Dance, and Movement Therapist, enabling her to integrate a unique body-mind approach into her therapy for a truly holistic treatment style.
With over 18 years of experience since beginning her physiotherapy career in 2006, Yonit has developed extensive expertise. She has successfully incorporated Clinical Pilates and hydrotherapy into her practice, working with a diverse range of clients, particularly those with complex health challenges.
Her specializations include working with NDIS participants and elder clients, focusing on enhancing their confidence and fostering greater independence. Yonit has vast experience treating neuromuscular and neurological disorders, orthopedic rehabilitation, and physical conditions such as MS, Parkinson's, various types of dementia, and more. She also excels in addressing sports injuries, lower back pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, post-natal care, thoracic therapy, and postural improvements.
Beyond physical rehabilitation, Yonit has extensive experience working with clients facing mental health challenges. She finds that addressing physical challenges often contributes significantly to improving mental well-being, demonstrating her holistic approach to therapy.
